Everyone's journey is unique
While your goals and objectives may be similar, no two people or families are exactly the same.
Therefore every client relationship is different
This high-level framework should only be used as a guide for how our process works. Your experience may follow this framework or may be unique to your circumstances.
Getting organized is the first step in establishing a financial foundation. We’ll help you take a look at what you have (and don’t have) to understand your current financial picture. While just thinking about this can be stressful and cause inaction and complacency, we will do our best to help you through the process and make it as much fun as possible (remember we said as possible).
You might have a lot of financial accounts: bank accounts, investment accounts, retirement accounts, health savings accounts to name a few. You also may have credit cards, mortgages, student loans, insurance policies, employer benefits, etc. The list goes on and on.
That’s a lot of financial stuff, and it’s easy to lose track of where these accounts are, and why you have them. Our process might include an electronic filing cabinet of all of your important documents as well as an electronic account aggregation system. Think about how the financial stress in your life could be diminished after gathering this information and potentially never having to do it again.
It’s natural to feel lost or overwhelmed as you begin to think about setting and balancing financial goals, however with the right attitude and guidance, this can be exciting as you get to create and understand what you want in your life.
We’ll help you identify specific goals, determine when you want to achieve them, and figure out how much money you'll need and/or can afford. Then, we’ll help you decide which of your goals gets top priority and which ones you’ll focus on in the future. You’ll not only know what you want to accomplish, but you’ll also understand the entire process and what it will take to get there.
Get to Work
This is where we will determine what you want to work on to help you achieve your goals and objectives. The areas we will address might include some, any, or all of the following: Cash Flow and Budgeting, Debt Management, Retirement Planning, College Savings, Risk Management, Estate Planning, etc.
